Ruth Hartwig

Ruth A. Hartwig, age 83, formerly of Antwerp, died Monday, 6:45 pm, at Betz Nursing Home, Auburn, Indiana. Ruth was born in Blue Creek Township, Paulding, Ohio, on September 13, 1924, the daughter of the late Walter & Clara (Peters) Baker. Ruth married Paul Hartwig in 1946. He died in 1969.

Ruth worked at Zellers for 22 years had been a telephone operator for Paulding Telephone Company and GM powertrain, Defiance.

She was a former member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Antwerp.

Ruth will be sadly missed by her brother, Ralph Baker of Hamilton, Indiana; neice, Marilyn (Forest) Bodiker of Waterloo, Indiana and nephew, Ron Baker, of Edon, Ohio.

Ruth will be laid to rest privately at Live Oak Cemetery, Paulding.
