RUTH "BETTY" ROSS

Betty Ross, age 84 of Antwerp, passed away Saturday, november 13th at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. She was born in Haviland, Ohio, the daughter of Fred and Anna (Fry) Stiebeling. She married Walter "Joe" Ross in 1939. She was a homemaker, a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Antwerp and the Eastern Star. Betty enjoyed her family, her church and sewing.
She will be sadly missed by her husband, Joe of Antwerp; daughters, Sue Schilb of Antwerp and Jan Farnsworth of Chicago; sons, Terry Ross of Indianapolis and William Ross, MD of St. Louis; 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Her sister, Mildred Iler and brothers Earl and Donald have passed away. You may call Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Dooley Funeral Home and Tuesday after 10 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Antwerp where you are invited to participate in her funeral service at 11 AM, with Reverend Charles Kamp officiating. She will be laid to rest at Rochester Cemetery, Cecil, Ohio. In Betty's memory contributions may be made to the church.
