Ruth J. Smith, 91 of Antwerp passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at Dallas Lamb Foundation Home, Payne.
Ruth was born in Paulding County on July 4, 1919, a daughter of the late Myrtle (Stultz) and Charles Smith.
She became a registered nurse in 1940, retiring in 1984 from Dana Weatherhead as an occupational health nurse. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Cecil, First Families of Paulding County and Paulding County Genealogy Society.
Ruth will be sadly missed by her sister, Grace Light; brother, Richard Smith, both of Antwerp and many nieces & nephews.
She is also preceded in death by her brothers, Ivan & Paul.
Her funeral service is at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp, at 10 am on Monday, June 13th, with Reverend David Meriwhether officiating.
Viewing is Sunday, 2 to 6 pm at Dooley Funeral Home.
She will be laid to rest at Rochester Cemetery.
