Ruth Ann Zimmerman

Ruth Ann Zimmerman, 71, of Quincy, MI, formerly of Payne, OH, passed away at home Thursday, June 30, 2016

Ruth was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on July 22, 1944, a daughter of the late Velma Catherine (Herman) and Gerhard  Krauskopf.

She was a teacher's aid at Wayne Trace Local Schools. Ruth was most proud of her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed volunteering where she worshipped at St. James Lutheran Church, Payne & Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Quincy, but was equally content being at the lake, quilting & cheering for the Ohio State Buckeyes and Detroit Tigers.

Ruth will be sadly missed by her husband, Donald, whom she married May 15, 1965; children, Bryan (Amy Conn) of Fort Wayne & Corinne "Corky" of Durham, ME; siblings Janet (Jim) Rathge if New Haven, IN & Lorna (the late Jim) Mohan of Westminster, CO and 4 grandchildren.

Her funeral service is at St. James Lutheran Church, Payne, at 11 am on Thursday, with viewing one hour prior.

Viewing is also Wednesday 4 - 8 pm at Dooley Funeral Home, 5761 SR 500, Payne.

She will be lad to rest at Lehman Cemetery.
