Steve Altic

Steve Altic, 71, of Fort Wayne, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at Parkview Regional Hospital. 

Steve was born on September 30th, 1951, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, a son of the late Betty (Brown) & William Altic, Sr.

He grew up with a fascination for all things mechanical and found his calling working as a press operator at Mullinax. However, before starting his professional career, he proudly served in the US Airforce.

In addition to his dedication to his work and service to his country, Steve was known for his fun-loving nature. He had an infectious sense of humor and loved to joke around with his friends and family. He had a passion for racing and other sports and was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs and Bears. Steve also had a great love of music, particularly rock and roll, and enjoyed playing pool in his spare time.

Steve is survived by his children, Nicole (William McClure) Altic & Ryan (Casey) Altic; siblings; Ruth (Dan) Kaufman, Deb (the late Jim) Ricard, Vicki (Neil) Vachon, Tina (Bill) Galbreath, Traci (Denny) O'Donnell & Shane, Shawn (the late Judy) Altic; sisters-in-law, Pam & Debbie Altic and Debi Wahl; & 7 grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Bill, Chris, Mark, Jeff, Mike, & Greg.

Funeral service is Saturday, May 13th at 3:30 PM with viewing from 2:30-3:30 pm at Antwerp Global Methodist Church, 202 E River St, Antwerp Ohio.

He will be laid to rest at Maumee Cemetery with Military Honors.
