Sylvia Kay Phillips, 73 of Antwerp, Ohio passed away at home on Thursday, September 17, 2020.
Sylvia was born in Paulding, Ohio on July 12, 1947, a daughter of the late Marybelle (Biederwell) and Richard Russell Crosby.
From a young age, Sylvia was a creative person. She was in marching band and participated in concerts in high school. She loved musicals and being with her friends. Her creativity led her to her passion of taking photos and becoming a master photographer. She thoroughly enjoyed all the years owning Sylvia's Country Portraits. Her grandchildren became her new focus, loving Christmas and taking vacations with them. She also loved NASCAR, drag racing and her dogs, Libbey, Snuggles & Princess.
She will be sadly missed by her husband, Douglas "Wayne", whom she married June 4, 1966; son, David (Christy), sister, Collene (the late Richard) Hitchcock; grandchildren, Amy, Joshua, Megan, Jeremiah, Josiah, Olivia, Jacob & Audrey and great grandchildren, Landyn, Jasper, Brance & Aurora. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra.
Sylvia's graveside service is Monday, September, 21, 2020, 11:30 am, Maumee Cemetery, 14623 County Road 43, Antwerp.
