Theresa Wannemacher

Theresa E. Wannemacher, 87, of Payne, passed away Sunday, January 4th, 2009 at Dallas Lamb Foundation Home.

She was born in Payne on April 2, 1921, the daughter of the late John and Olive (Zartman) Johnston.

On June 14, 1941 she married Louis Wannemacher who died May 15, 1994.

Theresa was a homemaker, a member of Divine Mercy Catholic Parish, the Altar Rosary Society, Joan of Arc Study Club, Paulding County Hospital Benevolent Society, Paulding County Farm Bureau, Payne Grange and she was a 4-H Advisor.

She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Rita Collis of Grayling, MI, Jean (Chris) Geist of Bowling Green & Carol Erickson of Payne; sons, Ron of Fort Wayne, Joe (Marlene) of Menomonie, WI & Tony (Carol) of Payne; sisters, Leona Farrell of Quincy, MI; Kathleen Brown of Antwerp & Jean Young of Payne, 15 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.

Service Friday, 11 am, Divine Mercy Catholic Church, Payne, with Deacon David Jordan officiating.

Viewing is Thursday, 4-8 pm, at Dooley Funeral Home, 5761 SR 500, Payne with a Rosary at 8 pm.

She will be laid to rest at Lehman Cemetery, Payne.
