Thomas E. Marlin, 90, of Antwerp, passed away at home on Wednesday, December 3 2014.
Tom was born in Antwerp on October 16, 1924, a son of the late Anna (Reising) and Edward Marlin.
He proudly served in the U.S. Navy in WW II.
He was a farmer and worked at Zollner's for 34 years; was a Carryall Township Trustee for 20 years, was a member of the Antwerp VFW & American Legion Posts, Payne Knights of Columbus, Serra Club, Antwerp Rotary Club & Divine Mercy Catholic Parish.
On June 20, 1953 Tom married Patricia Byanskie.
Tom will be sadly missed by his wife, Pat; 8 children, Mary Pat (James) Todd, Ann & Philip all of Fort Wayne, Stephen (Shelley), Anthony (Susan) & Daniel (Yvonne) all of Antwerp, John (Barb) of Ney & Christine (Dave) Blue of Hicksville; sister, Marianne (Harry) Cottrell of Antwerp; 18 grandchildren & 8 great grandchildren.
Funeral Mass at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, Antwerp, at 10 am on Saturday, December 6th.
Viewing is Friday, 2-4 & 6-7:30 pm with a Knights of Columbus, Catholic Vigil and Rosary service at 7:30 pm at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp. Viewing is also Saturday, 9 - 9:30 am at the funeral home.
He will be laid to rest at Maumee Cemetery, with military honors.
