Willis L. Messman

WILLIS L. MESSMAN, age 81, of Woodburn, Indiana passed away at 10:05 AM, Friday, May 18th, 2007 at Regency Place, Fort Wayne.

Born in Allen County, Indiana on May 8, 1926, he was the son of the late Edward and Mary (Ward) Messman.

On June 27, 1949 Willis married Norma Gustin, who survives.

Willis worked at Falstaff Brewery and was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Woodburn.

He will be sadly missed by his wife; daughters Kathleen (Tom) Kemerer of Hicksville, Ohio, Denise (Guy) Hoag of Antwerp, Diane (Dan) Miller of Harlan, Brenda (Mike) Stuckey of Leo; brother, James of Huntertown; 10 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by a great grandaughter; sisters, Willowdean Korte, Ester Nahrwald & Glenna Tracey and brothers, Howard, Edwin, Frank, Louis, Glen & Elwood.

You are invited to participate in his funeral service at Christ Lutheran Church, Woodburn at 10 am on Tuesday, May 22nd with Reverend Don Henry officiating.

You may call Monday, 2-4 & 6-8 pm, at Dooley Funeral Home and Tuesday, 9 am, at the church.

He will be laid to rest at Scipio Cemetery, Harlan.
